Tap a number to load it into the UPPER panel. Presets A–H recall a whole performance.
JV-8 is a playable model of the Roland Jupiter-8 (1981): two VCOs per voice with cross-mod and sync, a 6 dB high-pass, a resonant 12/24 dB low-pass, two ADSRs, eight voices, split/dual layers and the arpeggiator. Under it sits an effects rack (stereo chorus, tape echo, plate reverb) like the outboard gear these synths were recorded through. Play with the mouse, two rows of your computer keyboard (labelled on the keys), or a MIDI keyboard. Use − / + under the panel to make it bigger, then drag an empty part of the panel to look around.
